Från tidig till nutida experimentell musik
Kerstin Frödin är en mångsidigt verksam musiker inom både tidig musik och nutida konstmusik. Hon är verksam som solist, kammarmusiker och orkestermusiker och har också medverkat i flera scenkonstprojekt i samarbete med konstnärer från olika discipliner. Sina huvudsakliga studier har hon bedrivit vid Kungl. Musikhögskolan i Stockholm och vid Conservatorio di Musica E.F. Dall’Abaco i Verona, Italien. Sedan 2015 är Kerstin doktorand vid Piteå Musikhögskola/ Luleå Tekniska Universitet där hon driver ett konstnärligt forskningsprojekt som kretsar kring kroppens roll i musikalisk gestaltning. Under säsongen 2020–2021 är hon en av Kungl. Musikaliska Akademiens stipendiater inom Bernadotte-programmet.

From early to contemporary experimental music
Kerstin Frödin is a versatile musician in the fields of both early- and contemporary art music. She works as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician and has also participated in several performing arts projects in collaboration with artists from different disciplines. She conducted her main studies at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and at the Conservatorio di Musica E.F. Dall’Abaco in Verona. Since 2015, she has been a PhD candidate at Piteå Academy of Music / Luleå University of Technology, where she runs an artistic research project with the focus on the body's role in musical performance. For the 2020–2021 season, she is a scholarship holder of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music's Bernadotte-program.
